  • Experiencing God | Knowing and Doing the Will of God

Have you ever wondered what it is like to walk with God? To feel His love? To hear His voice? And to discern His will?

Are you ready to pursue a personal relationship where God reveals Himself, His purposes, and His ways all the while inviting you to join Him where He is already at work?

Maybe you have been earnestly desiring God's direction for your life.

We have an awesome teacher to help us grow deeper in our relationship with God. He is the Holy Spirit. He will teach you as He honours and uses God's written Word in speaking to you. The Holy Spirit will highlight biblical principles to lead you into God's will for your life.

Come and journey together as we participate in Henry Blackaby's amazing video series, "Experiencing God." The course begins Monday March 29th, at 7 pm, and will run for 10 weeks.

You can click HERE to register!

If you have any questions, please email Pastor Wayne or call the church office at 604.792.0051.

  • Church & Culture with Pastor Noel

Why are people who are starved for connection hesitant to connect virtually, like in a small group?

If this describes you, I feel what you feel. Maybe, like me, you have Zoom fatigue, or maybe a virtual group is just too unknown for you, or you just want to keep your options open, etc…

Here’s the thing: You know what I know. People grow spiritually by connecting relationally — by being encircled by others about Jesus.  In this prolonged pandemic season, the most viable way for you to do that is virtually.

I want to help you take steps from meeting in person as a group to meeting virtually as group, in a way that is a) not intimidating, b) at your pace, and c) moves you forward...

Join me LIVE on FaceBook, as I unpack this incredibly timely book one chapter at a time, every Tuesday.  You can comment in the chat, ask questions or just drop in incognito.

Not only will we learn what it means to uphold — and strive for — a culture of good at CAC, A Church Called TOV, but you will also take steps towards becoming more comfortable, connecting with others virtually. Win-win😊

Date:  LIVE Tuesdays at 7pm on Facebook

  • Short Term Group: Build Resilience

The start of a new year can mean the start of a fresh perspective and space for personal growth, and we are excited to have you join us for this journey.

We love how the Sermon on the Mount opens us to the heart of Jesus, and how — through Him — we can build a more resilient life. In these 6 videos.  Sheridan Voysey walks you through key parts of Matthew 5-7 in a way that entertains yet enlightens with his wit and wisdom.

We are hoping to parallel our current sermon series on Resilience and

    promote deeper discussion and learning.

    Date: Thursdays

    Time: 7:30-9pm

    Launch: January 21 - March 4th

  • Women's Bible Study: The Book of Ruth

God can seem distant when dreams fade, people die, or careers fail. It may feel like He slammed the door in your face and walked out for good. No one knows the feeling of abandonment more than Ruth and Naomi. Their story begins with the worst—death, famine, and poverty. And God remains silent.

In this 7-part series, Bianca Juárez Olthoff, speaker and author of Play with Fire, teaches through Ruth to show how God moves behind the scenes in our lives. On the surface, this book tells the story of two widows and a kind landowner. Even more, it teaches us about God’s faithfulness, love, and providence.

Walk the journey of Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz and discover the devoted love of God and His transformative power in our lives.

Video Bible Study provided through Right Now Media

    Dates: Tuesday mornings  |   March 2-April 13th

    Time: 9:30 am

Interested in joining us?   Please let Teresa know so she can send you the zoom link.
