CAC Praying Around the World

  • Don and Betty, our friends North of Nineveh are in full time (as much as they can with their load of responsibilities) language study, learning Arabic. They have a 3-hour session most days with homework, it is pretty intense. They are in lessons with B&R, new members to their team in January. Pray for them to be able to hear the language, this seems to be a critical component to learning it.

  • There are 5 main people groups our North of Nineveh team are seeking to bring the Gospel. Alongside local pastor S and his family, they are able to reach into communities of the following: Iraqi Arabs, the Kurdish, the Yazidi and 2 historical Christian groups, the Assyrians, and Chaldeans.  These people groups are among many of the least reached in the world and while they may share some similarities that come from living in the same place, there are great cultural differences and implications regarding Gospel work. Pray for the team and local Christians as they pray, discern, and serve; that they find and build into those relationships with love and for opportunities to share the hope of Christ.
