Worship Ministry at CAC

Each weekend we celebrate God’s presence with music and words you can relate to. Our services provide a weekly glimpse of God’s practical power and invite participants to feel the comfort of His loving support. We call individuals to life-changing commitment to Jesus Christ and wish to equip people in doing just that!

We embrace musical styles from the past and present. We are a multi-generational church and desire to celebrate as a “family” of worshippers. We desire to worship in “Spirit and in truth” as Scripture says to do, with songs that teach Scriptural truths and encourage fresh encounters with God the Father through the work of His Holy Spirit.

If you have gifts in the area of music and worship we have many spots open for you to serve. We have seasonal choirs, group ensembles, instrumental and vocal worship teams for church, young adults, and youth, a seasonal children’s choir, and so on. Instrumentalists include: drummers, guitarists (electric and acoustic), bass players, keyboardists, orchestral instruments, and more.

We offer a variety of opportunities to get involved in the technical side of worship services and special events - lighting, video, camera, sound. Special events call for gifts in drama, backstage help, stage management, painting, construction, make-up, props…..the list goes on and on.

If you are interested in being involved please fill out the Worship Ministry Volunteer Form and Pastor Greg or Chantal will connect with you.

Special Events

Christmas, Easter, and other special times throughout the year are always done with much thought, prayer and creativity. If you missed it before, or would like to revisit some of these moments, you can view below.

Corporate Worship & Covid19

Due to the COVID-19 Provincial Health Authorities restrictions in effect, we are unable to host worship teams as large as was typical before the pandemic. We are being as creative as we can be in crafting online worship experiences weekly as a church family while respecting the mandate to 'social distance'. When we are given the go-ahead to open back up for live services, we will go back to one service at 10am Sunday mornings and will live stream at that time.

Things have changed so much over the past year. We are thankful for our worship team members as they adapt with us in all of these changes and continue to serve the Lord and others in this way.

If interested in participating in worship teams here at Chilliwack Alliance, please submit your form and we will gladly respond shortly.
