We are planning another Church picnic day, and this time we will be having it
at Camp Kawkawa! We've rented the space there on August 1st, from 1-7pm. We will have access to the beach,
canoes, kayaks, and the tuck shop will be open for snack
purchases. There will also be a BBQ supper provided for us included
in the price. The cost is $10/person or $25/family.
We do need anyone who plans to attend to sign up so we can track numbers, as we are only allowed 50 people due to the COVID restrictions. We do plan to do this again, so if Aug 1st doesn't work for you, stay tuned for more information on Aug 22.
Sign up here, or come to the church office between 10am - 2pm to sign up and pay in person. We hope you can join us for this fun filled afternoon/evening! It's better when we can be together!
It has been a pleasure to worship with the church virtually these past few months. Many people have expressed their appreciation for what is provided for us all each week on both YouTube and Facebook. And we continue to be thankful!
Now, if you’d like to worship with others, live, in the sanctuary, with a live preacher, we are opening the doors for 35 people to join us each Thursday evening from 7:15-8.45. Sign-ups are a must. But please note, this will not be a typical Sunday morning service, but rather an opportunity to worship in the audience as the service elements are being recorded for the weekend.
Please click here to sign up, remembering that you must separately register each person in your family/party.

Greetings this Tuesday! School is officially done for the year (insert sigh of relief) and sunnier-than-today days are ahead! Here are some things going on here at the office:
• The kids ministry is still going strong! Pastor Anna and Kelsey have been working hard at getting content out for parents to use in lieu of Sunday school. And our kids are awesome! They are still learning their bible memory work and submitting videos proving they know their stuff! This means that they are earning their Treebucks to be able to spend at the store as soon as we can get you all back here! Anna is spending time with families at parks and offering them time and space together. And, in lieu of VBS, she is working hard to be able to provide 3 mini camps over the summer. If you have any 2L bottles lying around, drop them at the church! They are a big part of what they will be doing! Check out the website (or if you have young kids, check your email) for more info.
• Our friends in Peru have had to change from working at the office, to working from home, like many of us. They have had to re-work how and what they can offer pastors, church leaders and Sunday school teachers and are now involved in distributing aid. We will be updating you as we get information, but in the meantime, check out our missions page for the Peru annual report! There are some great stories of what they have been able to do last year! We will be updating there as often as we can!
The people in the Christian and Missionary Alliance have once been described as “people of the map.” I love this. To be known as people who are deeply and prayerfully interested in every corner of the map is exciting. To be known as people who identify those least reached and send workers in to difficult or resistant areas to grow churches is nothing to shy away from. The world and its need for the Saviour has become inherent in our DNA, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have the chance to help effect radical life change, and increase His Church, His Kingdom here on earth. For His glory.
Here at CAC we are committed to being a church that matters; here in this community and in the world. Many of us are currently engaged in local and global ministries and are supported and celebrated. These individuals and their ventures are indicative of the kind of heart that beats within in this church.
For the church to be successful as a whole we also need a corporate focus, something to work towards together. Proactivity and investment are actions that will lead to sustainable and powerful ministry, essentially having greater long term impact. As a church we are focusing on three fields outside of our community: Poland, Peru and Quebec.
There is an opportunity for greatness here family, in these places if we invest our prayers, our resources, and ourselves collectively as a church. God is working as He always is and we want be part of that - as Mordecai says " for such a time as this."
